More code camps upcoming

This weekend I'll be heading up to the South Carolina Code Camp in Greenville. I believe they still have room for attendees. If you are in the area, make sure to check it out. These events are great ways of getting a lot of free training and networking. If nothing else, they often give an excuse to get into another environment to think in different ways. Their site is http://www.gcnug.org/codecamp/Home/tabid/64/Defaul...

Just when I thought this would be my last talk this year, I got a note from Bruce Thomas that the Montgomery group has a camp on October 28 and he is looking for speakers, so what the heck. I entered my speaker submission. If you are interested in speaking at the event, you can get their speaker form at http://www.alabamacodecamp.com/data/alabama3.doc. These events typically are great ways for aspiring speakers to hone their skills and become the next .Net rock stars. Sure the pay sucks, but the experience and networking are priceless.

Update 9/26/06: Registration is now open. To sign up, see the full announcement at http://www.devfish.net/fullblogitemview.aspx?blogid=296. I'm registered and will be presenting both my LINQ languages talk and a new LINQ to SQL talk. Tell them that you heard about it here.
